STARTING APRIL 1,2025 TRAFFIC WILL BE OPEN TO NORTHBOUND ONLY (FROM BELLEFONTE TO HOWARD/JACKSONVILLE)
SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC (FROM HOWARD/JACKSONVILLE TO BELLEFONTE) WILL BE REDIRECTED TO WALT RD THEN STAY STRAIGHT TO GET BACK ON SR 26 AND BACK ON I-80 WEST GETTING ON THE 163 JACKSONVILLE INTERCHANGE .
NO BARRIER WILL BE PLACED AT THIS TIME.

We have received several complaints about people driving the wrong way on Jacksonville Road.
We Sent a letter to State Police asking for some assistance to stop this. They did start patrolling.
The State Police also asked if you see someone driving the wrong way on Jacksonville Road to try to get license plate number, color and make of car, the time of day and if you can a description of driver then call State Police and give them the information. They will start giving citations. Please be considerate and follow the road signs.
